Hydrangeas

Not to burst your bubble, but those giant pink and blue varieties tend to perform poorly in our climate. We hope to open your eyes to all the other wonderful hydrangeas that you might not know as well. And yes, we will offer some tips that may improve the odds of your being successful with the blue ones. Take home a small plant for your garden. Cost: $20.00

Notes - ~ MUST register in advance for ALL CLASSES, including the “Free” ones. ~ Classes do fill up so please sign up early. All classes have capacity restrictions. ~ If there is a fee for the class, the fee MUST be paid at the time of registration or within 14 days. If the class fee is not paid within 14 days, your registration for the class will be cancelled. ~ If you need to cancel your registration for a class with a fee, you must do so 14 days prior to the class to receive a refund. Please email or call the Fayette County Extension Office to cancel. ~ Plants/seeds/guides distributed at “Free” classes will only be available at the class. ~ Plants/seeds distributed as part of a paid class must be picked up at the Fayette County Extension Office the week the class is held, unless otherwise stated. (Plants/seeds will be distributed at the end of the class.) ~ To mail in your payment, please make check or money order payable to Fayette County Horticulture Program.
