Herbs for Tea

Discover how to grow and use fresh herbs to create flavorful hot and iced herbal teas at home. This class covers the best herbs for tea, simple harvesting techniques, and easy recipes for delicious blends. We will have a variety of teas for you to taste. You’ll leave with a lesser-known herb plant that’s full of flavor and, you guessed it, great for pollinators. Cost: $5.00

Notes - ~ MUST register in advance for ALL CLASSES, including the “Free” ones. ~ Classes do fill up so please sign up early. All classes have capacity restrictions. ~ If there is a fee for the class, the fee MUST be paid at the time of registration or within 14 days. If the class fee is not paid within 14 days, your registration for the class will be cancelled. ~ If you need to cancel your registration for a class with a fee, you must do so 14 days prior to the class to receive a refund. Please email or call the Fayette County Extension Office to cancel. ~ Plants/seeds/guides distributed at “Free” classes will only be available at the class. ~ Plants/seeds distributed as part of a paid class must be picked up at the Fayette County Extension Office the week the class is held, unless otherwise stated. (Plants/seeds will be distributed at the end of the class.) ~ To mail in your payment, please make check or money order payable to Fayette County Horticulture Program.
